Solutions are available using PSTN, ISDN, ADSL, GSM (mobile telephone) and video over and IP Ethernet.

Wireless transmission systems can be used either as a primary or temporary link or as a back up to an existing link. All wireless transmission requires absolute line-of-sight, free from obstruction such as building, trees, etc.

In most territories licences are required to operate microwave transmission equipment. Indeed, national regulations may exclude various equipment or the use of certain frequencies.

Other transmission media can be offered including video transmission by twisted pair cabling and fibre optic systems.
